June 6, 2012 – Snail Game’s flagship product Age of Wushu has made an appearance at the 17th annual E3 gaming expo in Los Angeles. The event is considered to be the largest, most authoritative in electronic gaming and draws the close attention of industry news media, gaming critics and bloggers worldwide. Age of Wushu will bring to the event a taste of authentic East Asian martial arts; in addition to announcing the official endorsement of international martial arts superstar Jet Li, who will act as the game’s global spokesperson, Snail Game has also released three promotional video clips for the event.

Age of Wushu extends Snail Game’s tradition of aesthetic excellence and vividly recreates the glory of China’s ancient cities. Advanced rendering technologies portray the beauty of China’s environment as well as its architecture from the borders with Siberia to the edge of Southeast Asia. As for gameplay, in addition to authentic martial arts, players can learn poetry, dance, and tea culture in the myriad cultural elements and life skills that are woven into the game’s storylines. Why not learn traditional painting, dance or weaving, or even open your own teahouse?

Age of Wushu introduces a classless advancement scheme and innovative fighting systems that bring players deep into the world of Wuxia. This is a world described in the martial arts classics of antiquity, a world where schools and secret societies, foreign invaders, ninja spies and even the dynastic court do battle with one another, settling old scores and upholding righteous. Age of Wushu also features interesting offline and mysterious instance systems.

Age of Wushu’s martial arts include fighting movements, inner skills, flying skills, arrays, and hidden weapons. True 3D fighting means that in the spirit of true Wuxia, players can fight in water, on the water’s surface, and even in mid-air. Movements have overt, feint and block effects that counteract each other in a manner not unlike rock, paper scissors. Players looking for a challenge in PVP mode must not only master these skills but be able to anticipate their opponents’ counter movements. Age of Wushu brings you PVP action unlike anything you’ve seen before.

While Age of Wushu makes a splash at the E3 expo in Los Angeles, here in China the game’s version 6.6 has begun free-to-play open beta testing, and servers are running full steam.
